Italian bottega — since 2011
Every image starts as a hand-drawn plate. Every score is composed and performed by us. Then it becomes mapping, stage design, sculpture — whatever the project calls for.
What we do
Original plates drawn by hand for each project. Nothing from libraries, nothing reused. The physical artwork is delivered to the client at the end of the project: it can be exhibited, published, kept.
Site-specific architectural projections that transform buildings and monuments into narrative surfaces. From concept to production, from 3D modeling to live performance. Every frame originates from a hand-drawn plate.
Visuals conducted live, following the orchestra — not a video that plays, but a scene that responds. Includes attendance at rehearsals and an operator in the room for the full run.
Video scenographies for theatre, opera and dance. Digital layers that dialogue with the stage, amplifying dramaturgy through light and movement.
Composition and sound design for installations, mapping and performances. Original soundtracks born in symbiosis with the visual project. Composed and performed by the authors.
Physical pieces modelled by hand and produced in our own workshop — resin, FDM printing, painted finishes. Wearable props, busts, large-format installations.
Sensory environments where sound, light and image envelop the viewer. Spaces transformed into multisensory experiences that blur the boundary between real and digital.
Visual identity for festivals, cultural institutions and brands. From logo to communication, a coherent language born from the same imagination as our projects.
Who we are
Imaginarium Creative Studio is a bottega — an Italian artist's workshop — founded in Viareggio in 2011 by Davide Giannoni and Francesca Pasquinucci.
Francesca Pasquinucci is an illustrator and set designer, with a degree in Theatre History from the University of Pisa and a background spanning traditional drawing, material scenography and digital technique.
Davide Giannoni is an orchestra musician, a double bass graduate of the Conservatorio Luigi Boccherini in Lucca, specialised in animation technology and live multimedia performance.
Our work has reached Italian and Spanish opera houses, the Wiener Festwochen, the PAAX Festival in Riviera Maya as visual artists in residence, and Italian Cultural Institutes across four continents.
Game Division
The gaming division of Imaginarium Creative Studio. We create videogames born from culture, art and music — interactive experiences that transform heritage into play.
A platform game dedicated to Giuseppe Verdi. Explore the maestro's operas in a pixelated world between Busseto and the globe.
The Viareggio carnival becomes a videogame. Race among the allegorical floats in a wild, colourful competition.
A cosmic adventure inspired by the music and imagery of Giorgia. Travel through galaxies and melodies.
Verdi's heroine in an endless runner through pyramids, temples and magic. Opera meets gaming.
How it works
Francesca draws on paper before anything becomes digital. Davide composes at the keyboard before any sound enters a project. Sculptures are modelled and printed in our own workshop. The medium changes. The hand does not.
