Who we are

Since 2011, we give form to storytelling.

Imaginarium Creative Studio was founded in 2011 in Viareggio from the encounter between Davide Giannoni and Francesca Pasquinucci. From scenography for the great opera houses to multimedia installations for institutions and festivals worldwide, the studio brings the same narrative sensibility to sculpture.

Everything begins by hand: Francesca Pasquinucci draws every subject on paper, with brushes and markers — this is where the work finds its soul, in the mark and the colour. Only afterwards does that drawing become volume, structure and matter, transforming the space that hosts it.

A path recognised with the Italian Excellence for Art award (2018) and the Mercurio Alato Prize of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2025), and with the artistic residency at the PAAX Festival in Mexico (2022).

“We don’t manufacture objects: we give body to a story and deliver it to the space that will inhabit it.”

From mark to matter

From illustration to monument

The forms are born from Francesca’s illustrations: dreamlike figures where human, animal and imaginary merge. The hand-drawn sketch becomes volume without losing its story. It is signed sculpture, never a mass-produced object.

Anatomy of a work

From executive project to artwork

Every work begins as an executive project, not a simple model: from the technical drawing — views, dimensions and layering — to the installed artwork.

Construction sheet

Four layers, from the inside out: welded steel load-bearing structure, fibreglass-reinforced PETG body, resin finish and base anchored to the concrete foundation. An executive project, not a simple model.

How we work

From project to installation

01

Concept & Story

Listening to the space and the client, developing the subject and hand-drawn sketches.

02

Digital sculpting

The drawing becomes a three-dimensional model: proportions, balance and scale.

03

Fabrication

Steel structure, large-format PETG body and resin finish.

04

Painting

Signature colour applied by hand and a protective layer, all in the studio.

05

Installation

Transport, assembly and site-specific installation, with light and sound.
