The Limits of the Planet

ORA The Limits of the Planet is the new performance project by Imaginarium (Francesca Pasquinucci and Davide Giannoni), who created the storytelling, drawings, animations, direction and original musical compositions.

Art and science meet in this story told through video mapping and music, about what scientists call “planetary boundaries” — the thresholds that humanity should not cross to prevent Earth from collapsing. Nine fundamental environmental processes through which the planet self-regulates.

A project created with the support and scientific contributions of ESA (European Space Agency), ASI (Italian Space Agency), EGO (European Gravitational Observatory) and INGV (National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology) — organisations and institutes that provided the Studio with incredible “sounds” from space and underground.
