Making the invisible visible

Spettro Nascosto is an immersive installation that works on perception: it does not tell a story in a linear way, but creates a sensory environment in which light and colour become tools to shift the gaze, change the reading of space, and reveal what normally remains in the background.

The work is born from the idea that colour is not merely decoration, but a living material, capable of sculpting volumes, altering distances, and transforming surfaces. In Spettro Nascosto, space is treated as an organism: it breathes, ignites, empties, and recomposes itself. The visitor does not observe from the outside but enters a visual condition that envelops and orients them.

Light works through layering: sometimes soft and enveloping, other times sharper and more cutting. There are moments when it seems to reveal, and others when it seems to conceal. This is precisely the heart of the project: making the invisible visible, or at least suggesting it.

“A spectrum is not just a range of colours: it is also a presence, an echo, a level of reality that exists but that we do not always know how to read.”
