Re Carnevale is the poster drawn with markers on paper by Imaginarium Creative Studio, based in Viareggio, for the readers of Il Tirreno.
It is a futuristic Carnival King, a cosmonaut, perhaps even from another world, who lands in Viareggio to give life to a most colorful Carnival: a universal, variegated carnival that blends its tradition with those of a thousand other peoples.
Seen as a whole, this Carnival King looks like a sort of spaceship from the year 3000, but looking closer at the details, among stars and planets, there are elements from the past and from Viareggio's tradition. The result is an encounter between past and future, between local tradition and artistic and cultural expressions from around the world.
